Wareham Land Trust: Wednesday Walks at Great Neck

Join The Wareham Land Trust on Wednesday, November 12th, for a hike at Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary led by Wareham Land Trust Board member Lisa Lindman. Enjoy the outdoors and hike with good company at Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. This hike will cover approximately 2.8 miles through the Widow’s Loop, Old Pasture Loop, and Huckleberry Loop.

This is a faster paced hike with minimal stops. Participants should expect to get in a good workout rather than a leisurely walk. The trails are mostly flat but run through forest so roots and rocks are likely to be present.

This event is FREE but space is limited! Please register ahead of time.

Parking is available at the end of Stockton Shortcut at the Old Sacred Hearts Seminary. This is not the small parking lot in the forest – it is past that smaller lot, the entrance is where Great Neck Road and Stockton Shortcut meet.

Please bring water and wear layers appropriate for the weather.
