Wareham Land Trust: Veteran’s Day Parade

Please join the Wareham Land Trust as we march in the Wareham Veteran’s Day parade on Tuesday, November 11.

The Wareham Veteran’s Day Committee is sponsoring the parade, and they are encouraging the participation of town groups, non-profits, etc. in this community event. We’ll be carrying a banner and marching, sorry….no float!! The assembly will be on Merchant’s Way at 9:00 on November 11, and the parade will begin at 10:00 AM sharp. The Route is 1 mile down Main St to Center Park, across from WCTV.

If you would like to participate, please register by Friday, October 31st (the Parade Committee needs a head count).

You’ll need to wear either a WLT hat or shirt (we’ll have them at the WLT office to purchase before the parade).

Bring a small American flag on a stick to carry in the parade. We have a few extra flags, so don’t go out and buy one if you don’t already have one, but it would be helpful to bring one if you have it.
