Located in the center of a quaint seaside town, Onset Beach is surrounded by local restaurants, shops, and events. Its sandy shores are perfect for a day of relaxation.
Please reference the following information from the Town of Wareham’s website page regarding beach stickers and access:
$5 – Senior resident beach sticker (same privileges as a resident beach sticker)
$10 – Swifts Beach day pass (can be purchased in the office and requires a date of use, license, and registration)
$15 – Resident beach sticker (parking at Swifts Neck, Swifts Beach, Little Harbor, Shell Point, and South Boulevard and Onset boat ramp)
$50 – Nonresident beach sticker (allows for parking at Swifts Beach and Onset Boat Ramp)
$50 – Guest placard (allows residents to purchase a placard for: Little Harbor, Swifts Beach, and Swifts Neck)

Located on the Wareham River, Zecco Marina allows for easy access into Buzzards Bay. Its experienced staff are familiar with all aspects of boat and engine repair, specializing in Mercury Outboards, Sterndrives and Inboard engines.
Safe Harbor Onset Bay

Located in Onset, this marina sits on the town’s open waters. Equipped with a variety of amenities, Safe Harbor Onset Bay has everything boaters may need for a great day.
Wareham Marina

With mechanics possessing over 50 years of inboard and outboard experience, the Wareham Marina is prepared to aid boaters in a variety of ways. Located off I-195, the marina is surrounded by beautiful views of nature.
State Kayak Launch
Public – Free
Nestled behind the Tremont Nail Factory, this is a low tide access point. The launch location allows for access to the quaint Parker Mills Pond and Wareham River, which includes a section through Wareham Center.
Weweantic River
Public – Free
Located off I-195, this state boat ramp provides a scenic view of the Weweantic River’s marshy landscape. With shallow waters, it’s perfect for small boats, kayaks, and paddle-boards. The river allows access to Buzzards Bay and Horseshoe Mill.
Tempest Knob
Public – Access Fee
Tempest Knob is located across from Wareham Center, allowing easy access to fishing hotspots like The Narrows, Wings Neck, and Mashnee Flats in upper Buzzards Bay. Paddlers can also set off on kayaks or paddle-boards to explore the coves and shores around Parkwood Beach.
Onset Boat Ramp
Public – Access Fee
The Onset Boat Ramp offers a perfect location for being near local attractions like Onset Beach and local restaurants. Launching from Broad Cove, Onset Bay and upper Buzzards Bay can then be accessed. Paddlers can also launch kayaks or paddle-boards to explore Broad Cove and the nearby Muddy Cove.
