Join The Wareham Land Trust on Wednesday, October 15th, for a walk at Great Neck Conservation Area led by Wareham Land Trust Volunteer Dave Evans. Enjoy the outdoors and discover the trails at Great Neck Conservation Area. This walk will cover approximately 1.6 miles through the Weld Memorial Forest and Great Neck Conservation Area with a stop at a beautiful view on Little Harbor.
This is a medium pace walk with one stop midway to enjoy the viewpoint on Little Harbor. Terrain is described as substantially hilly but mostly clear of rocks and roots.
This event is FREE but space is limited! Please bring water and wear layers appropriate for the weather.
Parking is available roadside at the end of Bourne Hill Rd. Please park on the right side of the road to prevent blocking access to the water tower. The group will gather there and then begin the trail walk.
