Wareham Land Trust: Wednesday Walk at Great Neck

Join the Wareham Land Trust on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM for a scenic walk through Heron Point Loop at Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary, led by board member Jody Gastfriend.

Enjoy springtime views, learn about local wildlife, and pause at Osprey Overlook for a photo op—and maybe even an osprey sighting! The walk is approximately 2 miles with slight hills.

Meeting Point: Parking at the old Sacred Hearts Seminary on Stockton Short Cut St, Wareham, MA.

What to Bring:

• Water

• Weather-appropriate layers

• Blaze orange (recommended for trail visibility)

• Optional: Walking stick
