Stargazing Night at Onset Beach and Wickets Island

The Onset Bay Association invites you to a magical evening under the stars on Wickets Island! Begin with a short boat ride to the island, where you can enjoy 360° views from the top, cozy up by a campfire, and explore the night sky. Stargazing is self-guided, but Wareham High School’s Astronomy teacher will provide telescope access for an enhanced experience.

Event Details:

• Date: Choose your departure time and arrive 5-10 minutes early to board the boat.
• Duration: Stay as long as you’d like until the event ends at 8:00 PM. Boats return to shore every 20-30 minutes.
• Cost: Free and open to all! Guests 21+ are welcome to BYOB responsibly. Snacks, food, and personal telescopes are encouraged.
• Tips: Dress warmly, bring a blanket or towel, and consider using the free Stellarium app for stargazing guidance.

Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, participants will be notified 24 hours in advance. The rain date is February 11.
