Join the Wareham Twinning Committee for an engaging meeting on Thursday, January 16, to learn about their efforts to foster a meaningful connection with the people of Wareham, United Kingdom.
The meeting will take place at the Wareham Historical Society, 495 Main Street, starting at 7 p.m. Attendees will hear about the exciting plans for the upcoming May trip to the UK.
Twinning is a partnership between two towns in different countries that promotes travel, cultural exchange, and education.
In October, the Mayor of Wareham, United Kingdom, her escort, the former mayor, and the head of Wareham, UK, visited Wareham, Massachusetts. Claire and Howie Smith from Wareham, MA, had previously traveled to Wareham, UK, in 2022.
