Westgate and Fearing Hill Conservation Areas in celebration of our 25th anniversary. This meaningful walk <strong>honors the place where the Wareham Land Trust\u2019s conservation journey began<\/strong>, when we partnered with the Town of Wareham to help protect this beloved landscape for the community.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Wareham Land Trust board member Kathy Pappalardo, this <strong>guided 2.1 mile hike<\/strong> will explore the trails of Douglas S. Westgate and Fearing Hill while reflecting on the history of the property and the Land Trust\u2019s early conservation efforts. <strong>Participants will enjoy scenic woodland paths, views of the Weweantic River, gentle terrain, and a chance to connect with the land that helped shape our mission.<\/strong> There is one steep hill along the route, so feel free to bring a walking stick and be sure to wear proper footwear. After the hike, you are invited to warm up with coffee and hot chocolate at the trailhead.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This hike is free and open to all and welcomes both longtime supporters and those new to the Wareham Land Trust.<\/strong> Parking is available at the Douglas S.
