Wareham Land Trust: Flutterby Butterfly Walk
Join the Wareham Land Trust for a Butterfly Walk at the Red Brook Trail Network, led by local butterfly enthusiast Andrew Griffith.
As the weather gets warmer it’s the perfect time to spot butterflies in Wareham, and the Red Brook Trail Network offers a beautiful and diverse landscape to find them. Andy will guide participants through the trails, helping identify what we see, sharing about the butterflies life cycle and host plants, and giving tips on how to attract butterflies to your own yard or garden
This walk will cover easy to moderate terrain.
This event is FREE but space is limited. Please bring water and wear appropriate footwear for uneven ground.
Where: Red Brook Trail Network, Lyman Reserve Parking Lot, Head of the Bay Road and Red Brook Road, Bourne, Plymouth and Wareham, MA
When: Saturday, May 16th, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Cancellation Policy: In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled. Registered participants will be notified by email the morning of the event, and a cancellation notice will also be posted on the Wareham Land Trust’s social media pages.
