Wareham Land Trust: Community Read Discussion

January 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free

Join the Wareham Land Trust for a cozy, community read discussion of The Nature of Oaks by Doug Tallamy on Thursday, January 29th at 7:00 pm, held via Zoom.

This engaging book explores the natural world through the lens of a single oak tree, offering insights into what is happening in the environment month by month. Together, we will reflect on Tallamy’s observations, share what resonated with us, and discuss how the book deepens our understanding of the seasonal rhythms around us here in Wareham.

You can participate whether you have read the entire book or just a portion. Copies of The Nature of Oaks are available for purchase or order through your local bookstore, may be checked out from the library (limited copies), or accessed digitally through Hoopla, where the Wareham Free Library offers unlimited copies.

This informal discussion is open to all and designed to be welcoming, thoughtful, and conversational. Bring your favorite passage, a cup of tea, and your curiosity. We look forward to reading, learning, and reflecting together.

Registration is required.
