Wareham Free Library: The ART of CANVA

Join us at the library for an introduction to using this simple design program to create flyers, infographics, cards, and MORE! This program is intended for participants aged 15+ years!

CANVA can set your creativity free with a library of design templates, resources, and ideas. This program will only offer a brief introduction to the program and provide participants with the means to:

• Open a free CANVA account
• Choose a template for either a flyer or a social media post
• Add text & change font type/size/color/placement
• Add shapes, graphics, and photographs
• Layer imagery, use transparency, and filters

CANVA is meant to be explored by the user over time to become comfortable with the tools and templates. Participants should expect to spend time outside of this program becoming familiar with CANVA.

Participants may use the library computers for this class or may bring their own laptop to “save” their account information during the program. Registration is limited to 6 participants using the library computers.

If you intend to bring your own laptop, please contact Melissa Dyer at 508.295.2343 x1012, as this will allow additional participants to join the class.
